Biodex Medical Systems, Inc. aims to serve the communities in which we live and work. Community and charitable outreach is a core value of the company. We are committed to playing a part as active corporate citizens – sharing our skills, expertise, and resources with the wider community and creating partnerships that have a positive impact on society.

Biodex hosts Robotics TeamBiodex is a proud sponsor of the Center Moriches High School Robotics Team.  The team consists of a group of students that work together to compete in the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Competition, a national program that challenges teams of students and their mentors to design and build a 130-pound robot in a six-week timeframe using a standard "kit of parts" and a common set of rules. The international competition has grown to more than 1,303 teams competing in 37 regional events, including Israel and Brazil. >>

Biodex Communty ServiceBiodex held a Chinese Auction on May 15, 2015 to benefit the American Heart Association. Employees donated various items that were put together in decorative baskets, along with numerous local businesses that donated Gift Cards for raffling off at the auction. Everyone had lots of fun and together we raised $900!

Biodex employees adopt two local familiesBiodex employees adopted two local families this year from the Colonial Youth and Family Services League located in Mastic Beach, New York. As always they were extremely generous and provided more than ten gifts for each of the eight family members including their three dogs. >>

 

Biodex Acknowledge Breast Cancer Awareness MonthBiodex employees participated in the 2014 “Wear Pink to Work Day,” to help bring awareness to Breast Cancer. They also raised money for The Maurer Foundation for Breast Health Education by selling pink and white cookies. >>

 

 

Biodex delivers backpacksEmployees at Biodex worked together as department teams to collect brand new backpacks and fill them with school supplies for grades Kindergarten through High School. A total of 37 stuffed backpacks were donated to the Family Service League in Yaphank. The backpacks will be distributed to needy children within our local area. >>
