Community Outreach
Biodex Medical Systems, Inc. aims to serve the communities in which we live and work. Community and charitable outreach is a core value of the company. We are committed to playing a part as active corporate citizens – sharing our skills, expertise, and resources with the wider community and creating partnerships that have a positive impact on society.
Biodex employees participated in the 2014 Relay For Life Event at Center Moriches HS on June 7, 2014. The theme this year was “The Olympics.” Each team chose a country and a sport to decorate their tent site. 
Each volunteered at the Family Service League in Yaphank on Dec. 18 & 19th, to help families with shopping for toys for each of their children, as well as, sorting and wrapping the toy ... 
This holiday season Biodex held a fundraiser to raise money to support local military families. We raffled off a gingerbread house which was homemade by Kathy Weihberg, one of our employees. Due to the generous support of everyone we were able to provide two military families with a $100 gift card for each of their three children, ... 
In August, 4 of our employees volunteered their time to the Family Service League and helped fill backpacks with school supplies for needy families in our surrounding areas. Thanks to the hard work of our employees, close to 100 backpacks were assembled. In total FSL provided over 1,800 children with backpacks containing required school supplies.
