“I'm at a liberal arts undergraduate institution and we use our Biodex System 4 Pro for a mix of applications. We have an athletic training curriculum, exercise science program and clinical athletic trainers here. All three groups use the system. I especially like the new Graphics User Interface (GUI) that allows for touch screen or mouse operation. The software seems intuitive and once students are introduced to the program they pick up on it quickly. That's great because it means I don't have to keep giving tutorials on how to get the system up and running - it's very user-friendly. Currently we are testing knees, elbows, and hamstring stiffness. We plan to do some ankle inversion/eversion tests in the near future.”
