On June 13th five of our employees volunteered at Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck. Despite the rain, they worked tediously without complaining. Their task at hand was to create a Memorial Garden in honor of those children who went to camp and have since passed on. Crystal Errante, Kirk DeLucia, Leslie Dunn, Randi Colombo and Ray Rinchey, Jr. created a masterpiece.
They worked with a woman named Lillian who has been a volunteer at the camp many years. Lillian was brought to tears when she saw her dream become a reality. Some school children were scheduled to come within the next couple of days to plant flowers in the garden to bring it to fruition. A round of applause for our hard-working, creative group of employees!!
Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck's mission is to help children and adults with disabilities achieve equality, dignity, and maximum independence through a safe and quality program of camping, recreation, and education in a summer-time environment.
